Dr. Rashi Agarwal

Dr. Rashi Agarwal is a psychiatrist, mental health educator, TEDx speaker, social impact leader, and public health advocate known for her work in mental health awareness, community outreach, and psychiatric care. Over the years, she has combined clinical psychiatry with public engagement, leveraging both digital platforms and community initiatives to promote mental well-being and reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness.

She is the founder of Voices of Meerut, Chairperson of ManUtsav, Meerut's first mental health festival, and a corporate mental wellness consultant. Through her educational initiatives and social media outreach, she has reached thousands of individuals, helping make conversations around mental health more accessible, relatable, and evidence-based.

Dr. Rashi Agarwal completed her undergraduate medical training at Swami Vivekananda Subharti University, earning her MBBS degree between 2010 and 2016.

During her medical training, she developed a strong interest in human behavior, emotional well-being, and psychiatric medicine. This interest led her to pursue postgraduate specialization in Psychiatry at Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical and Health Sciences, where she completed her Psychiatry Residency Program between 2017 and 2020.

Her residency training provided extensive exposure to the diagnosis and management of a broad spectrum of psychiatric disorders, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis, addiction, adolescent mental health concerns, and psychiatric emergencies.

Following the completion of her postgraduate training, Dr. Agarwal began her professional career as a practicing psychiatrist with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care, empathy, and mental health advocacy.

Prior to her specialization, she briefly worked as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Max Healthcare, gaining valuable experience in acute medical care and emergency services.

After completing her psychiatry residency, she worked as an independent psychiatrist through Medico Home, where she provided psychiatric consultations and mental health support services.

She later joined LLRM Medical College as Senior Resident in Psychiatry, where she contributed to patient care, academic training, and psychiatric education. She subsequently served as Senior Resident at Lokpriya Hospital, further strengthening her clinical experience in mental healthcare delivery.

In July 2024, she joined LLRM Medical College as Assistant Professor, where she is actively involved in medical education, psychiatric training, mentoring students, and clinical services.
