Dr. Shajahan OM

Dr. Shajahan OM is a physician and clinical pharmacologist with formal training in medicine and drug sciences. He completed his MBBS from Vinayaka Mission’s Kirupananda Variyar Medical College, Salem (2008–2014), followed by an MD in Pharmacology (2016–2019) from Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation, where he was awarded a university gold medal. His academic training includes exposure to clinical pharmacology, research methodology, and pharmacovigilance practices.

He currently serves as Consultant Clinical Pharmacologist at Lisie Hospital and Head of Operations at Lisie Cancer Centre, Kochi. His work involves medication safety, antimicrobial stewardship, and integration of clinical and operational systems in oncology care. He has previously held roles at Vijaya Medical and Educational Trust, where he contributed to pharmacovigilance and quality systems, and at Iswarya Hospital, where he was involved in hospital setup and implementation of digital and operational protocols. His experience also includes clinical roles in surgical oncology and emergency care settings.
