Dr. Zeel Shah

Dr. Zeel Shah is an Indian medical doctor, clinical educator, and healthcare management professional. She has built a diverse clinical portfolio spanning emergency medicine, intensive care, digital health, and remote medical consulting. Her contributions to institutional and rural healthcare have been recognized with professional accolades.

Dr. Shah is born and raised in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. She completed elementary and high school education at the Asia English School in Ahmedabad, graduating in 2016. Moving abroad for medical training, she attended the David Tvildiani Medical University in Georgia, earning a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 2022. In January 2023, she successfully cleared the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE), the official Indian medical licensing exam. Later pursuing leadership roles within the medical sector, She enrolled in a Postgraduate Diploma in Healthcare Management and System at the Ahmedabad Management Association, running from January to July 2026.

Clinical Training and Internships

During medical school, she has completed a clinical clerkship at the Sachkhere Medical Center in Georgia from February to March 2022. This training involved diagnostic evaluations—including imaging studies, ECG interpretation, and thoracocentesis—across departments such as the ICU, Emergency, Cardiology, and Neurology.

Returning to India, She undertook a specialized clinical observership at the Vijayratna Diabetes Diagnosis and Treatment Center in Ahmedabad in early 2023, focusing on continuous glucose monitoring systems (CGMS) and insulin dosing. This was followed by a comprehensive one-year rotating medical internship at General Hospital, Kheda, concluding in mid-2024, which focused on essential inpatient care, vital signs monitoring, and patient counseling.

In June 2024, She joined SAL Hospital, a National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) accredited facility in Ahmedabad, as a Medical Officer. Specializing in ward and ICU patient management, pre- and post-operative care for cardiac and oncological cases, and chemotherapy administration, Shah was recognized as the facility's Employee of the Month during this tenure.

Transitioning into digital health and remote medical consulting, She accepted a position as a Telemedicine Doctor with Hexpress Healthcare Softech Private Limited in Vadodara starting in February 2026.
